Great article! While his actions seem wildly reckless, I can’t help but wonder if there’s a calculated element behind them—not necessarily his calculations, but perhaps Putin’s. By isolating the U.S. from its allies, we weaken ourselves, which is undoubtedly something Putin desires.
RT has openly referred to Trump as the “destroyer of America” and a “friend of Russia.” Moreover, it was reportedly Putin who came to Trump’s financial rescue during his bankruptcies in the 2000s. The FSB has a long history of targeting influential individuals in financial distress, offering money to gain leverage over them—and I believe that’s exactly what happened here.
Trump’s own children made some telling comments around 2010, saying things like, “Russian money is pouring into our organization.” The implications are hard to ignore. We’ll learn even more in the coming weeks, especially if Trump takes office and lifts sanctions on Putin. If that happens, the writing is on the wall.
Thanks again for this article. It was a great read!
On Carter. He led for much of the contest in 1980. The murky backstage realpolitik of the GOP kissing up to the ayatollahs to rig the hostage release was rejected as unbelievable. Now it seems quite credible.
Carter’s mistake was believing that the American people, especially Southerners, were able to leap into the 21st century as he did, rather than being corn-pone halfwit Dukes of Hazzard. He lost because of the American bent for hostility, greed, and flat-out meanness. An appeal to Christian humility, morality and decency? Get out you old coot!
What do you do with a useful idiot that is no longer useful...Martyr them; this is what's in store for Cheetolini. Your article is a bullseye. I believe we are closer to 1792 France that 1933 Germany. "and in the eyes of the hungry, the grapes of wrath of wrath are growing heavy"
Not one other voice is as clear as yours sir! I am in Sweden and we have high level leaders looking at Mr T not as a deterring anomaly but as an example as to how grabbing power is done.
As sad as I am to see the US where I have many relatives deteriorating from brain rot, the forces reach excruciatingly far. Add to that concoction the maniac with an even shorter surname, openly supporting the latest neonazi party in Germany and by god we’re in for a four year nightmare.
The "brain rot" is like COVID. It's highly infectious and kills millions of brain cells. Thanks for your kind feedback. Glad you enjoy my commentaries!
It is the oldest sin, for humans to refute conscience and reason and let slip the demons of wrath. For this was the irremediable sin of the Angels against God, in Christian mythology, non serviam. If you will not express yourselves as the summit of human existence, then what are you? Choose, then, to be a snarling feral thing.
Yes it actually takes an effort to get civil and remain civil. I see it in Sweden where people seem to thrive in opening up their shadow and go full demon.
Jimmy Carter lost my vote when I learned he had been walking through various government buildings, including Main State, and turning off lights to save energy. I thought to myself: doesn't he have better things to do?
He was a good man with good intentions who did and said what he thought was right and tended to be oblivious to the political implications of his actions -- qualities that spell doom for any President.
That said, he was the best ex-president we have ever had.
He not only turned off the lights, but he actually managed when and who could use the tennis court. There are other shortcomings I learned from the Secret Service and others. Just petty shit.
As crazy as he is, certifiable or not he's got a lot of power so we should pay some attention to his rants.
Carter and all politicians face a bad outcome if they can be voted out if people believe the economy is in decline no matter how much good they can do for society and I find the reverse is also true.
Carter did NOT call it malaise, everyone else did. And of course he did talk honestly and truthfully to the American people. But we do not want sacrifice, we want bread and circuses and showmanship. See Reagan. See Trump. Sorry, I voted for Carter twice and would again. And yes, his life and work after 1980 was even better than the four years he was President.
I agree. Carter believed in American citizens as sober adults, holding to values such as George Washington espoused-sobriety and thrift, humility and dignity, moderation and kindness, the sunny side of Christian values. America wasn’t that way. It was the start of the cult of Big Daddy worship. Big Daddyism has won. We’ve shit in the Capitol to show the world.

I agree. I've been writing that he's a Russian asset for years -
"Trump is a Russian Asset & Here's Why" - https://jameslbruno.substack.com/p/trump-is-a-russian-asset-and-heres-19-03-29?utm_source=publication-search
Thanks. I’m going to read this in the morning.
For me the trouble with being a Cassandra is that too many people ignore sage advice and analysis.
It is heartbreaking to be so right, as you are, and yet have people go along in their rush to fall off metaphorical cliffs.
So, no shame in being a Cassandra.
The blame is all on those who choose to be deaf and blind, who refuse to hear and see.

Thanks. Interesting comparison to France 1792. I'm going to give it thought.

All three are failing miserably
