The politics are such that govt agencies have been hyper-cautious since Trump's first term. Extend that to GOP Congress members who are all cowards. Pres. Biden was focused on "healing" - which didn't work. And his AG Garland turned out to be a terrible mistake. Today, we are experiencing an administrative coup by Trump in a political environment in which all parties are being steamrolled. It's the perfect s----storm for losing our democracy.

I was convinced in summer of 2016 that Trump is a Russian asset of some kind after I looked into his myriad business dealings with Russian oligarchs and their lackeys and his reliance on Russian banks and buyers for his businesses. Combined with his long opposition to NATO and his campaign’s stance on Ukraine it was plain as day.

Since then I’ve grown only more certain he takes orders from the Kremlin. A disciplined right wing media ecosystem enabled him to hoodwink enough Americans to secure the White House again and now he will dismantle American power abroad and prosperity at home.

Also, the aggressive manner in which he/they neutered the Mueller investigation. This is the stuff of Hollywood fiction come true.

Yep. An innocent president would have welcomed an investigation into his campaign because it would vindicate him and make his opponents seem like fools. Instead Trump fired the FBI director and promised his campaign manager a pardon in exchange for “staying strong.”

I still don’t understand how his behavior didn’t convince Americans of his guilt. Maybe Americans are no longer intelligent enough for self governance.

A big part of this is the media and social media which is heavily influenced by Russia. Along with people who hate black and brown skin people and have absolutely no critical thinking skills. Not even enough to change the TV or radio channel once in a while.

Absolutely. The investigation was being carried out by what is seen as a right wing leaning organisation, so, if innocent, trump should have welcomed it. I believe wholeheartedly that this traitor is a putin operative.

The phrase "unwitting agent of the Russian Federation" fits him exactly. Too clueless to realize but willing to believe anything he is told by his Russian handlers. Living in a democratic republic like the USA carries a duty to actually vote rather than sit back as a spectator blaming others. Shame on the one third who didn't vote.

I’ve read at least 3 books on Trump’s ties to Russia so know you speak truth. I also know you do this at great risk with this censorship the regime wants to enforce. Indebted to you for that.

I saw yesterday that a piece on thus and related memes disappeared from the internet.

These will be hard to erase so I posted them on Bluesky.

I hope he realizes too late Putin doesn't need him. He's just a pawn in the Chess Board of War Games and will never get that CheckMate he is seeking. Putin is known for disposing of people without traceable means of ever being found. Unfortunately, like the money and information disappearing from our Government. We The People know the outcome of Trump's continued relationship with Putin and the struggle it will be to put America back together. In the upcoming days, I hope you are studying and making a list of who needs to go in the upcoming elections. Share your list before the next Elections and why you chose who to eliminate. We are all one Voice and it's becoming a Very LOUD VOICE.

I have been of this conviction since 2016 as well. It seemed obvious (plus the narcissism) and, even though more and more people are waking up to this and much more, I fear it is too late for USA.

My hope is that European leaders will get up to speed quickly.

Sen. Jeff Merkley has been confronting Trump nominees with the question, “Do you believe Pres. Trump is a Russian asset?” When they give a b.s. response, he then responds, “If he were a Russian asset, he’d be doing exactly what he’s doing now.” So, yes, more people are waking up to it. But action outweighs words.

Plenty of people know he’s a Russian Asset and has been for decades. He owes dear old Vlad many millions of dollars in loans which he can’t pay back. He never would allow his bank accounts to be audited because he knows the money trail leads right back to Putin. The Heritage Foundation used that as a weapon to weasel into the White House. What I can’t understand is why Congress follows him so blindly.

They likely used the classified intelligence Trump gave Lavrov & Kislyak in the Oval Office (with no other US attendants) on Israeli military operations & any updates Trump sent them to help Hamas plan their attack on Israel. Also note the many get-togethers Trump & Putin had where translators were forbidden from taking notes, & the many long private phone conversations between the two. Recordings of those phone conversations between Trump & Putin should've been exposed by Biden. (So many things Biden failed to do to protect us from Trump!)

It’s Time's avatar

Yeah Jaime, a totally agree with everything except what was in those documents. Back in the beginning it was leaked that there was info regarding nuclear readiness of Europe. They had compiled different countries idealisms of how they would respond or not want to respond. The reason this was being compiled was because of Europe’s concerns that dip shit wanted to pull away from NATO. Funny, after idiot lost pootyboy made the move to invade Ukraine. And well, there was not enough of a response. Then Biden and congress wanted restrictions of how and where they use the weaponry. It seems to fit together a little too well. The choice Biden made Not to allow Ukraine to use any weapon as they please emboldened pootyboy pos. I can appreciate the fact that you are smart enough to understand that every fucking one of those documents at Mar-a-Lago had been copied and studied by russia./china Think about it, why did the pathetic pos bring them to an unsecure location, such as Mar-a-Lago! It’s not a question. Yet totally ignored.

I do believe without question that pootyboy knew and helped hamas in the planning of the massacre in Israel. Again, the outcome, the benefit to pootyboy was a result. That’s simply how pootyboy and russians roll.

When I watched Trump lie his way through his first election campaign-and mocked a disabled reporter and the Maga hats cheered him- I realised that Germany in the 1930s could easily happen again. Then he was elected-and I watched Trump on TV at the Helsinki meeting with Putin-Trump fawning over him. I knew then that the Americans had been sold to Russia. I thought everyone could see that. I never thought it possible the American ptople coukd elect him again after that. But they did. I’m still astounded. I think America is in too deep now, and can only watch from afar-dreading what’s coming.
