“I Am Time”: ......When Krishna revealed His divine form to Arjuna on the battlefield and declared,

“I am Time, the destroyer of worlds,” it was not a boast. It was a revelation: that no power, no empire, no ego, no ambition, can stand against the turning tide of truth.

Today, we watch a man, Elon Musk, echo destruction not as a cosmic necessity, but as personal design. Once hailed as a visionary, he now oversees the unravelling of lifelines for the world’s most vulnerable:

Food aid slashed. Medicine withheld. Refugees abandoned. Children starving.

While he tweets provocations and dismisses empathy as weakness, millions pay the price. Not in theory, but in blood, hunger, and grief.

This is not Time.

This is a man with power and no purpose, brilliance without balance, invention without integrity.

The Gita warns us of this archetype:

The one who believes himself untouchable.

The one who thinks, “I am the doer, the lord, the enjoyer. There is none like me.”

But all who forget humility are eventually reminded by history.

Krishna’s Time destroys to restore.

Musk’s chaos destroys to dominate.

There is a difference, and the world feels it.

And yet, this is not a story of one man.

It is a test of all of us.

Will we speak out while lives are being discarded for profit and pride?

Will we defend compassion in a world that now calls it weakness?

Because the Gita is clear: when injustice rises, silence is also a choice. And every era must decide: will we follow those who build, or those who burn?

Thanks very much for these insights. The Gita indeed has much to teach us and more people, especially Americans, would be wise to read it. As you say, this is a test for us all.

Terrific insights into an imploding sociopath’s world view. Someone who cared enough to point out Matthew Perry’s suicidal obsession with ketamine might save him — but I doubt he would even pretend to listen…

excellent piece - demonic essay is right on and probably how his brain had rewired due to hours spent gaming on the dark web while using many drugs. Really

tragic all around illustration of the life and downward spin of a

drug addict. Point of Prince, Elvis, Michael Jackson, john Belushi, you get the drift. l hope

he gets help.

I just had a friend who had a two hour surgery 2 weeks ago to repair a broken bone in her lower leg. Given ketamine - told easy surgery. The next morning her kidneys started to fail, in the next 24 hours she had to have 3 rounds of 5 hours each time of dialysis- to try to save her kidneys. Had to stay immobile each 5 hrs treatment.

It worked but it was and still is a hell to recover from.

These rich dudes playing with getting high are destroying their bodies possibly permanently.

Ketamine destroys your kidneys nevermind your bladder.

Possibly Musk has been in hospital - just one dose of ketamine for surgery can shut your kidneys down. Sometimes urgent dialysis is needed.

Holy crap! Imagine playing around with such a substance. I think of Matthew Perry, Michael Jackson and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I simply cannot fathom how some people can be so self-destructive.
