How Purged Diplomats Pose a Grave Threat to the New MAGA Order: Confessions of Deep Staters

The recently fired U.S. diplomats will now use their highly honed regime change skills to sabotage Trump. What to do?

Donald Trump has done a very dangerous thing. In firing thousands of federal employees, he has inadvertently created a revanchist Fifth Column out to bring him down. And the most threatening among these are State Department diplomats.

Quoting the news site NOTUS, Fox News reports that “some of the democracy-building experts President Donald Trump fired this year from the U.S. Agency for International Development and the State Department are now reapplying the skills and knowledge they built up over decades to undermine Trump’s power.”

One anonymous current federal official said, “Take it from those of us who worked in authoritarian countries: We’ve become one. They were so quick to disband AID, the group that supposedly instigates color revolutions. But they’ve done a very foolish thing. You just released a bunch of well-trained individuals into your population. If you kept our offices going and had us play solitaire in the office, it might have been safer to keep your regime.”

This cabal reportedly “is composed of diplomats and human rights activists who were once on the U.S. government payroll encouraging Latin American dissidents to fight dictators and supporting African independence movements. They were involved to varying degrees with an ultimately successful uprising in the Middle East.”

Deputy White House press secretary Anna Kelly condemned such efforts, saying, “It is inherently undemocratic for unelected bureaucrats to undermine the duly elected President of the United States and the agenda he was given a mandate to implement.”

If you had any lingering doubts about the existence of a “Deep State,” dispel them now. For what I am about to reveal will send you reaching for the torches and pitchforks.

I was a member of the Deep State. Worse, I then became a purveyor of “fake news” in the lamestream media. Here is my confession.

Yes, I schemed against six sitting presidents in my years as a deep cover Deep State operative. I connived with scores of other cabalists to apply diplomatic pressure to get Vietnam to end its occupation of Cambodia and the Soviet Union to get out of Afghanistan. I conspired with my colleagues to help the German people raze the Wall and reunite their country and plotted to help East European nations establish functioning democracies after they threw off the chains of communist oppression. I traveled to war zones to work with the United Nations (sans black helicopters) to protect, house and feed refugees. And I managed to negotiate with the likes of the Khmer Rouge and the Stalinist Laotian regime to free Americans in their captivity. I was among the first Deep Staters to re-establish normal diplomatic relations with Cambodia and Vietnam.

In Cambodia, I disloyally traipsed through minefields as we established a demining program to save farmers and kids from losing their lives and limbs. Later, I was a Deep State rep who monitored human rights inside Cuba, constantly tailed and harassed by their secret police. And I met monthly with the Cuban military on “The Line” at GTMO. Can you imagine? Meeting with Communist Cubans? Military officers at that! This may be my greatest sin in a long sorry career of working with my fellow “radical left lunatics” seeking to undermine the U.S. of A.

In doing so, the Assistant Secretary/ambassador who recruited me to work on Afghanistan was killed in a mysterious plane accident in Pakistan; two Consulate Karachi staff members were murdered and I lost seven embassy military colleagues in one afternoon in a chopper crash in Vietnam in 2001. Their mission was to search for and recover MIA remains in that country’s jungles. A number of my fellow Deep Staters were among the Iran hostages; some were tortured; one died later from MS. All served the Deep State selflessly. Osama bin Laden killed 22 American embassy personnel in the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa. Deep Staters all.

During my time in the Deep State, 78 fellow diplomats were killed in the line of duty, their nefarious scheming cut short by violence.

Finally, I continued to try to sabotage MAGA and Trump by spreading “fake news” as a journalist for POLITICO and the Washington Monthly, to name just two fake news media. Now I do so via this Substack fake newsletter. All under the guise of “promoting democracy” and defending the “rule of law.”

So, it is self-evident that Trump did the right thing in dismissing 1353 State Department unelected bureaucrats faster than you can say “Let’s not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein” even though they will just turn around and scheme to bring down the Trump administration and toss it on the ash heap of history. This, dear readers, poses a clear and present danger to Trumpism.

Their weapons? — laptops. Their power? — ideas. Their motivation? — ethics and morals. In other words, they are armed and dangerous.

I worked on responses to North Korean missile launches. I helped evacuate American citizens from crisis hotspots in the Middle East and North Africa.

I speak four foreign languages and was slated to work on the critical minerals supply chain before I was RIFed. Leaving jobs like mine is like a special invitation to China to come fill the vacuum.

My team drove $176 billion in annual agricultural exports. We negotiated highly technical trade agreements to ensure that U.S. agriculture remains globally competitive.

I was part of the team in the Bureau for Global Health that delivered life-saving medicine all over the world, demonstrating the goodwill of the American people and creating partnerships abroad to counter foreign malign influence. To ensure this medicine, paid for by U.S. taxpayers, actually reached patients in need, my work focused on supply chain security and countering corruption.

Returning to the United States under this veil of suspicion, under the shadow of my own government questioning my intentions, has shaken me to my core. This is not just a personal struggle; it is part of a broader, insidious pattern of psychological warfare being waged against those of us who have dedicated our lives to public service. It is an attack not just on me but on my colleagues, on marginalized communities, on anyone who dares to challenge the status quo and push for a better world. The consequences of this assault will be lasting, far beyond my own experience.

There are two million federal employees. The federal government is the largest employer in the nation. They contribute nothing to the country and pose a danger to the new order. Fire them all!
