Contributing to the Public Discourse Through Washington Monthly
An update on yours truly:
As you know, I’ve been a contributing writer with Washington Monthly for several years now. The publication has asked me to up my contributions as a regular twice-monthly commentator, which I’ve gladly accepted. My focus is national security and politics. In these troubled times, I consider it a great honor to be asked to participate in the great debate surrounding the future of our country.
Per its website, “Washington Monthly was founded in 1969 on the notion that a handful of plucky young writers and editors, armed with an honest desire to make government work and a willingness to ask uncomfortable questions, could tell the story of what really matters in Washington better than a roomful of Beltway insiders at a Georgetown dinner party.” Published both online and in print form, it caters to policymakers and thought-leaders. Alumni contributors include James Fallows, Jon Meacham, David Ignatius, Jonathan Alter, Nick Confessore, Michael Kinsley and other prominent writers.
I’ve also contributed to POLITICO, Cipher Brief, HuffPost and other publications. I am free contractually to continue to do so and will post links to my articles here and in other social media.
As always, I welcome feedback and comments, so please don't hesitate to reach out!😁
